What is Project Lifesaver?
A program designed for those who may wander from home
How Does It Work?
A bracelet emitting a radio frequency is worn by persons at risk for wandering. When they wander, deputies respond with receivers to locate them. This program has a 100% success rate throughout the country and is used in 40 Florida agencies.
Who Needs Project Lifesaver?
Although normally used by persons with various forms of Dementia, persons with Down's Syndrome, Autism, and Brain Injury issues can also enroll in the program.
